Welcome to our Naturehood

Alessandra Brownsword-Matthews came to us with an exciting task. She needed to create a brand from scratch for her healthy eatery in the heart of Chelsea. She was right at the start of her mission, with just the concept, name and a shell of a building to work with. Our first task was to define the positioning and vision of the brand. With these sorted, we could set to work on developing a beautiful brand for Greenspeares which could stretch across future lines of wholesale goods as well as more cafes and delis.

With a neighbourhood vibe and the spirit of nature’s wonderful ingredients, the concept of ‘Naturehood’ was born and formed the basis of all our designs. Cool without being cold, wholesome without being worthy, we created a classy contemporary look for Greenspeares with a mature colour palette. Our in-house team illustrated and designed the full identity, which rolled out across everything from the signage, menu and right down to takeaway coffee cups. The website was designed and developed by us and we even worked with the architects on a vision for the interiors and took part in taste testings to help decide the plant-based menu. Finally, we established a clear tone of voice for Greenspeares, setting them apart from the overload of predictable hipster cafes cropping up all over London.
