We have been working with the Spirit of Yorkshire team for many years now. Having created Filey Bay – Yorkshire’s first single malt whisky, our attention turned to the distillery’s Cream Liqueur. Blending the best of the Filey Bay and Spirit of Yorkshire inventory, our challenge was to design a bottle that connected visually with both. And at the same time, convey the product’s premium proposition in the cream liqueur market.

We defined the visual architecture across the distillery as a corporate entity, its products and the Filey Bay brand. It was a crucial stage of work that informed the ultimate packaging direction and evolution of brand equities. The result is an elegant design that sits primarily within the Spirit of Yorkshire portfolio but also has a nuanced nod back to the distillery’s flagship brand, Filey Bay.
